E30 Bumper Removal + Exhaust Removal

Part 3: Started Up After 5 Months

Part 4: Up On Jack Stands, E30 Bumper Removal

I’ve been having a ton of fun making these videos.

Decided to take a short break from working on the motor and actually do some work to the car that’s been sitting in my yard for 5 months.

I built this concrete pad specifically for the project, and it was really satisfying to finally pull the car onto it. Getting the car on jack stands and removing bolts really makes the project feel like it’s moving along more than it has been from just cleaning up and prepping the engine. I’ve got some parts that have been showing up for the engine, supplies for valve lapping, etc.

I want to get the motor buttoned up, but getting this M42/Trans out of the E30 and selling that off that along with some other parts is my priority for the next week or so. The hardest part has been figuring out what order to attack this project in with so much to do. Jumping around to different aspects will help keep things fresh and exciting for me.

Stay tuned. I’ll be dropping more videos in the next few days for my E30 LS Swap.
